Library and Auditorium Lobby Rotatating Temporary Art Exhibits
In September, the Arts and History team put out a call for artists to create temporary art installations for the shared lobby and entrance area of the Broomfield Library and Auditorium.
Artists were encouraged to explore unique imagery and seasonal themes suitable for all ages in a public space. Selected artists will have their pieces displayed in the shared lobby entrance for four months and will receive a $10,000 stipend.
In October, the selection panel chose three artists for the project: Rebecca Lefebvre, Amelia Furman & Heather Rubald, and Sophia Dixon Dillo. Stay tuned for more details about the artists, their themes, and the installation dates.
