Detectives Investigating Shots Fired at a Harrington Residence

The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday in Harrington.

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 6:14 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Yellow Wood Drive in Harrington for a report that a house had been hit by gunfire. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect fired a shot from an unknown location and hit the house. There were two adults and two children in the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.

Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this case to contact Detective S. Ryan by calling 302-698-8443. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
