Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Overnight Lane and Ramp Closures From Manthey Road To County Line

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows;

  • Overnight closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound and southbound I-5 between Walker Slough and SR-4/Crosstown Freeway beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Full on-ramp closure on northbound I-5 at Monte Diablo Avenue for concrete work on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
  • Alternating closures of the #3 (center) and #4 (right) lanes of northbound I-5 between Monte Diablo and Telegraph Avenue for sign work on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
  • Full off-ramp closure on northbound I-5 at Country Club Boulevard for sign work on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
  • Overnight, alternating Lane closures on southbound I-5 at Gaffery Road for a striping operation beginning Sunday, June 30, 2024, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to SR-12 (Flag City) for construction work beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Eight Mile Road on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound.)
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 between Eight Mile Road and SR-12 (Flag City) for construction work beginning Saturday, June 29 through Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off and on-ramp closures at SR-12/Flag City on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from SR-12 (Flag City) to the Sacramento County line for construction beginningSaturday, June 29, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off and on-ramp closures on northbound and southbound I-5 at Turner Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off and on-ramp closures on northbound and southbound I-5 at Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off and on-ramp closures on northbound and southbound I-5 at Peltier Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 26 - One-Way Traffic Control

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on State Route 26 (SR-26) for shoulder work. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control on SR-26 from White Lane to Jack Tone Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, and on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Interstate 205 - Lane & Ramp Closures
From Byron Road to Macarthur Drive

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 205 (I-205) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight closures of the #3 (right) lane of eastbound I-205 from Delta Mendota Canal to I-580 for guard rail work beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full closure of the onramp to westbound I-205 from Grant Line Road for construction beginning Sunday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 2 from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on eastbound I-205 from Paradise Road to I-5 for guardrail work beginning Sunday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight closures of the #3 (right) lanes on I-205 between 11th Street and MacArthur Drive for guardrail work beginning Sunday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound) and from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. (westbound).
  • Full closure of the MacArthur Drive onramps for construction beginning Sunday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound) and 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound).
