Ogden Fire Department 150 Anniversary Open House

YOU'RE INVITED!

Help us celebrate Ogden Fire Department turning 150 years old this year at our special Fire Prevention Open House!

Every year our department hosts a Fire Prevention Open House during the NFPA's Fire Prevention Week, typically in October. However, since this year our department is turning 150 years old in August, we are combining our Open House with a grand birthday party on August 5th! Alongside our usual open house activities there will be a special message from the Fire Chief and Mayor of Ogden!

When: August 5th, 2024, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Where: The Public Safety Building at 2186 Lincoln Ave. inside the bay of Station 1.

Attached is our flyer and some social media graphics. You can also share this event that we made: https://fb.me/e/3B2HiSt86

We are excited to offer fire truck rides at this year's open house! We are teaming up with Catholic Community Services of Utah to gather donations needed to support our community of Ogden. If you would like to take a ride on one of our trucks, please be prepared by bringing one of the following donations:

  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned vegetables (no green beans)
  • Canned meat, soup, and beans
  • Dry Milk
  • Cereal
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Canned Spaghetti Sauce
  • Hamburger Helper
  • Newborn clothes
  • Muslin burp clothes
  • Unscented baby wipes
  • Diapers
  • Nonperishable food items
  • Individually packaged snack items
  • All hygiene items (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products)

Thanks again for your support in making this the best birthday ever, and we look forward to seeing you at our open house! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.

Sincerely, Ogden City Fire Prevent Team and 150th Year Heritage Committee
