Researcher and Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights at the Algorithmic Accountability Lab within Amnesty Tech

She is lawyer specialising in public and private international law and the regulation of emerging technologies and data. Hellen has a PhD from Tilburg Law school, Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Her research interests include, how digital technologies can exploit and exacerbate vulnerabilities and create new vulnerabilities in interactions between users and deployers of these technologies, and the regulation of data and artificial intelligence systems.
