ERIE, Pa., July 1, 2024 - Erie Insurance (ERIE) has named Mark Hadix vice president and branch manager for ERIE's Raleigh, N.C. branch. Hadix most recently served as senior district sales manager for Field Operations in West Virginia and will start his new role in Raleigh on July 11.
Hadix joined the company in 2016 as a material damage claims catastrophe adjuster, which provided him the opportunity to work throughout ERIE's footprint. In 2018, he became material damage claims supervisor for the West Virginia branch and transitioned to senior district sales manager in 2020.
"Mark epitomizes ERIE's servant leader culture and brings a wealth of insurance and business experience to the branch manager role," said Mark Banks, VP, regional officer, Southeast Region. "He has a proven track record of effective leadership, building meaningful relationships and collaborating for successful outcomes-we're thrilled to welcome him!"
Prior to joining ERIE, Hadix was an entrepreneur in the automotive cosmetic repair industry for over a decade. He was also an auto material damage adjuster for Grange Mutual Casualty Insurance in Columbus, Ohio.
A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor's degree in management, Hadix also holds several insurance designations including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims Management (AIC-M), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) and Associate in Personal Insurance (API).
Hadix succeeds Tim Haseleu, who returned to ERIE's Pittsburgh (Pa.) branch this spring and is serving as vice president and branch manager. A 28-year employee, Haseleu has held roles that include multiline claims adjuster, district sales manager and senior district sales manager for the Pittsburgh branch and vice president and branch manager in Raleigh.
