BART announces winners of its paper ticket fashion show

Hundreds of people filled the Rockridge Station parking lot on Saturday, September 14th for BART's paper ticket fashion show, "Project Doneway: a Farewell to BART Paper Tickets."

35 outfits were created by local high school and college fashion students. About 100 students participated in the event. Participating schools included Academy of Art University, Oakland School for the Arts, City College of San Francisco, and San Francisco State University.

The garments were judged by local fashion luminaries Charleston Pierce, Randy Wells, and Mary Campbell.

Winners received Clipper cards and Amazon gift cards at various price points and the first-place winners will get the opportunity to collaborate with BART on new merch.
