CTIA Announces Dave Das of Samsung as New Board Member

WASHINGTON- CTIA, the wireless industry association, today announced that Dave Das, Executive Vice President, Mobile eXperience Business, of Samsung Electronics America has joined CTIA's Board of Directors, effective immediately.

"We are very excited to add Dave to our Board of Directors," said CTIA President and CEO Meredith Attwell Baker. "We welcome his two decades of extensive experience and his global knowledge of the wireless market. We look forward to working with Dave as we focus on advancing the wireless industry's commitment to driving our economy forward."

At Samsung, Das is responsible for driving revenue, market share, and profit growth for Carrier and National Retail Sales, Mobile Products and Services, Integrated Marketing, Mobile Strategy, Mobile B2B, Mobile Computing & Wearables and Mobile Production Center teams in the U.S. market. Das is a Samsung veteran of more than 20 years, and started his career in Samsung's Global Strategy Group, continuing on to later join Samsung Electronics America.
