Temporary Road Closure at San Miguel Road and SMART Intersection

As part of the Coffey Park and Fountaingrove Neighborhood Road Recovery Project, the track crossing at San Miguel Road and SMART tracks is scheduled for temporary closure to through traffic between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 through Friday, July 26 as crews repave San Miguel Road east of the SMART tracks.

The road closure will be reopened as quickly as possible after 5:00 p.m. each evening. On days when it is exceptionally hot, crews need to keep the road closed for an extra hour or so to allow the asphalt to cool.

During this work, detours will be in place directing eastbound and westbound traffic to cross the SMART tracks at Piner Road (see detour map below).
