Ballots will be made available in both English and Arabic.

Early voting information

The Dearborn City Clerk's Office provides the option for voters to complete a ballot and securely feed it into a tabulator before Election Day during nine days of early voting.

Voters can vote early in this election beginning Saturday, July 27, through Sunday, Aug. 4, in Studio A at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

Early voting will be available each day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Vote by mail (absentee voting information)

Registered voters can pick up or request that a ballot be mailed to their home by submitting an Absentee Ballot Application through Monday, Aug. 5, at 4 p.m. at the Dearborn Administrative Center, 16901 Michigan Ave.

The Absentee Ballot Application is also available in Arabic.

All completed absentee ballots must be signed and received by the Dearborn City Clerk's Office or at one of five official City of Dearborn ballot drop boxes by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Secure and surveilled ballot drop boxes are located throughout the city at the following locations:

To avoid potential mailing delays, it is recommended to return absentee ballot applications and all completed ballots by hand to a drop box or the City Clerk's office now through 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Voting at polling places on Election Day

Dearborn voters who have not cast a ballot during early voting or with an absentee ballot can vote in person at their designated polling place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Visit Michigan.gov/Vote to confirm where to vote on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Voters who are in line to vote at their polling place at 8 p.m. on Election Day are reminded to stay in line to vote, as they have the right to cast a ballot if they are already in line to vote when polling places close.

Register to vote on Election Day

Michigan has same-day voter registration, meaning residents who are eligible, but not already registered to vote, can register and cast a ballot up to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Those who need to register to vote on Tuesday, Aug. 6, may do so in person at the Dearborn City Clerk's Office. It is necessary to show proof of residency in Dearborn to register on Election Day.
