Capital Product Partners L.P. Announces Corporate Conversion and Name Change

Fried Frank acted as counsel to the Conflicts Committee of the Board of Directors of Capital Product Partners L.P. (NASDAQ: CPLP) in connection with the conversion of CPLP from a limited partnership to a corporation (the "Conversion") and the (the "Name Change"). In connection with the Conversion, the Company will be renamed Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp and CPLP's General Partner will give up its existing management and consent rights. The Conversion and the name change are key milestones in CPLP's strategic pivot towards the transportation of natural gas to industrial customers, including liquefied natural gas and new commodities emerging as a result of the energy transition. The Company is an international owner of ocean-going vessels.
