Full Nighttime Lane Closure Scheduled for Posey Tube to Perform Electrical Maintenance

Schedule: Work scheduled for Nov. 12th from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alameda County - Caltrans is scheduled to close both lanes of the Posey Tube on Nov. 12 from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The purpose of this closure is to accommodate routine maintenance on the electrical system within the Posey Tube (SR-61).

Maintenance crews will put out signs for the detour around the construction area to redirect motorists.

Caltrans will turn on Changeable Message Signs (CMS) to notify the public ahead of time.

All Work is weather dependent.
