Jen Kiggans Is Silent As Trump Attacks Veterans, Again

Donald Trump doubled down on his record of disparaging and offensive comments about veterans, this time saying that the U.S.'s highest civilian award is "much better" than the top military honor because soldiers who receive the Congressional Medal of Honor are "either in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead."

Despite running to represent more than 80,000 veterans - nearly 15% of Virginia's Second Congressional District - Jen Kiggans has once again stayed silent about Trump's insulting comments.

When 13 News Now asked Kiggans for comment, giving her the opportunity to defend veterans, Jen Kiggans didn't respond.

"13News Now is still waiting to hear back from Kiggans and Youngkin."
