Detours for 11 Metro bus lines in Hollywood area on Sunday, Aug. 18, for CicLavia

We have detours Sunday, August 18, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on several bus lines due to the CicLAvia event in West Hollywood and Hollywood.

The following lines have detours: Lines 4, 10, 105, 180, 204, 206, 207, 210, 212, 217 and the 222.

Most of the street closures for CicLAvia will be on Santa Monica Boulevard, Highland Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.

Information about the nearest bus stop will be posted at all bus stops impacted by the detour.

Please allow for extra time if you're riding the bus in the area. If traveling along Hollywood Boulevard, the B Line subway is a good alternative - the B Line will be running its usual Sunday service with trains in both directions every 12 minutes for most of the day.

The detours:

Line 4

Eastbound: Regular route to Santa Monica Blvd. and San Vicente Blvd. then R- San Vicente Blvd., L- Melrose Ave., L- Cahuenga Blvd., R- Santa Monica Blvd. and regular route.

Westbound: Regular route to Santa Monica Blvd. and Vine St. then continue via Santa Monica Blvd. to L- Cahuenga Blvd., R- Melrose Ave., R- San Vicente Blvd., L- Santa Monica Blvd. and regular route.

Line 10

Eastbound: Depart temporary layover two (2) minutes before scheduled departure time at Santa Monica Blvd. and Larrabee Ave. via Division 7-yard west driveway, L- San Vicente Blvd., L-Melrose Ave. and regular route.

Line 105

Northbound: Regular route to San Vicente Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. then continue via San Vicente Blvd.

Line 180

Eastbound: Depart temporary layover via Selma Ave. to R- Gower St., L- Sunset Blvd., L- Vermont Ave., to Hollywood Blvd. and regular route.

Westbound: Regular route to Vermont Ave. and Prospect Ave. then continue via Vermont Ave. to R-Sunset Blvd., R-Vine St., R-Selma Ave. to temporary layover at Argyle Ave. farside.

Line 204

Northbound: Regular route to Vermont Ave. and Fountain Ave., then R-Sunset Blvd., R-Virgil Ave., R- Fountain Ave. to temporary layover nearside of Vermont Ave.

Southbound: Depart temporary layover via Fountain Ave. to L- Vermont Ave. and regular route.

Line 206

Northbound: Regular route to Normandie Ave. and Sunset Blvd. then R-Sunset Blvd., R-Virgil Ave. and regular route.

Southbound: Regular route to Fountain Ave. and Vermont Ave. then continue via Vermont Ave. to L- Sunset Blvd., L- Normandie Ave. and regular route.

Line 207

Northbound: Regular route to Western Ave. and Fernwood Ave. then continue via Western Av,Fountain Ave., R-Wilton Pl., R-Sunset Blvd. to temporary layover between Wilton Pl. and Western Ave.

Line 210

Southbound: Regular route to Cahuenga Blvd. and Hollywood Blvd. then continue via Cahuenga Blvd. to L-Sunset Blvd., R- Vine St., and regular route.

Line 212

Northbound: Regular route to La Brea Ave. and Sunset Blvd. then R- Sunset Blvd., L- Gower St., L- Selma Ave. to temporary layover at Argyle Ave. nearside.

Southbound: Depart temporary layover via Selma Ave. to L- Vine St., R- Sunset Blvd., L- La Brea Ave. and regular route.

Line 217

Northbound: Regular route to Hollywood Blvd. and La Brea Ave. then R- La Brea Ave., L- Sunset Blvd., L- Vermont Ave to Hollywood Blvd., and regular route.

Southbound: Regular route to Vermont Ave. and Hollywood Blvd., then continue via Vermont Ave. to R- Sunset Blvd.,R- La Brea Ave., L- Hollywood Blvd., and regular route.

Line 222

Northbound: Depart temporary layover via Selma Ave. to R- El Centro Ave., R- Sunset Blvd., R- Vine St., L- Yucca St., and regular route.

Southbound: Regular route to Cahuenga Blvd. and Yucca St. then continue via Cahuenga Blvd. to L-Selma Ave to temporary layover at Argyle Ave. farside.
