10 31 24 Drought Restrictions Move to Stage 3 Effective November 4

The City of Buda will be transitioning to Stage 3 drought conditions effective Monday, November 4, 2024. This transition from Stage 2 to Stage 3 restrictions is due to one of Buda's main water sources, the Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer Conservation District (BSEACD), transitioning from Stage 2 to Stage 3 restrictions. Per City of Buda ordinance 24.06.008, the City is required to transition to Stage 3 when two or more of the City's water suppliers transition to stage 3. The City's other main water source observing Stage 3 restrictions is the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA).
