Cllr Vikki Hartstean, Cabinet Member for Children's Services and Education, has commended Impulse Leisure Centre for their inspiring efforts to ensure Thurrock's vulnerable children receive a gift this Christmas.
Through their Give a Gift campaign, Impulse Leisure is collecting donations of toys and gifts at their leisure centre sites. These donations will bring festive cheer to vulnerable children across Thurrock and those at Little Havens Children's Hospice.
On Tuesday 19 November, Cllr Hartstean visited Impulse Leisure Centre's Blackshots site to see how many gifts had already been donated.

The campaign runs until Wednesday 11 December, so there is still time to contribute and make a difference.
