Street sweeping begins November 8

Sweeping Corp of America (SCA)will begin sweeping curb and gutter streets in Azle on Friday, November 8; they will continue on Monday, November 11 - Wednesday, November 13. We ask residents to help by removing from the street; vehicles, trailers, basketball backboards and trash cans. Moving your car off the street on sweep day is very important. Leaving a car parked on the street means that an area of almost 3 car lengths will be left unswept.

The street sweeping program is part of the City's efforts to prevent pollution from entering our waterways through the storm water system by cleaning debris and pollutants along curbed streets before they reach local streams and harm water quality.
