Clemson MBA Fireworks on the Fourth Returns to Unity Park

The largest fireworks show in the Upstate returns to Unity Park next Thursday, July 4.

Attendees are advised to plan ahead, arrive early and enjoy a spectacular evening in the park.

The schedule of events includes:

  • Soul Intent Band kicking off the event at 6 p.m., at the outdoor stage in front of the Prisma Health Welcome Center
  • The Greenville Police Department's Honor Guard will present colors at 7:30 p.m.
  • A performance from the 246 Army Band begins at 7:45 p.m.
  • The grand finale fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Food trucks will line Mayberry Street, and Pangaea Brewing and The Commons will be open for business. Four Pepsi locations will be operating throughout the park.

Greenville Police advise that road closures for the event will begin at 3 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to park in downtown garages and then walk to the event via the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The downtown trolley also will be running from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., between the GTA Transit Center, 100 W. McBee Ave., and Unity Park.

Please note that the trail will be temporarily closed at the end of the event (around 9:50 p.m.) for approximately 15-20 minutes. This is a safety precaution to ensure that all fireworks have been properly inspected and no other potential hazards exist. We ask for your patience during this brief closure and encourage you to use the trail to leave the festival.

Police officers will be directing traffic at all major intersections. When leaving a downtown parking garage, please head east toward Church Street and then determine your preferred route.

Attendees may bring chairs and picnics; however, smoking, firearms, pets and alcohol are prohibited at the event.
