BC Hosting Annual Alumni BBQ

The 64th Annual Bakersfield College Alumni BBQ promises to be a vibrant celebration of over sixty years of Renegade pride. Each year the event brings together multiple generations of respected alumni, community members, and students to celebrate the rich history of BC. This year's BC Alumni BBQ is set to be another fun-filled festival, offering various interactive activities, live performances, and delicious food on Saturday, October 19th, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
With Harris BBQ as this year's presenting sponsor, guests can expect to enjoy a mouthwatering tri-tip paired with a selection of delicious sides or an all-beef hot dog cooked to perfection with the help of the BC Culinary team. Every meal ticket purchased will also include general admission to the Homecoming football game vs. Hancock College. The goal is to fill Memorial Stadium with fans of all ages and elevate school spirit to an all-time high!
Along with the delicious food offerings, attendees will also have the opportunity to witness the talents of some of Bakersfield College's finest programs, including live performances from BC Jazz, BC Choir, Drumline, and Cheer. There will also be other activities for the whole family including a petting zoo, face painting, dessert and snack vendors, and local craft vendors. For attendees who are twenty-one and over, a refreshing beer garden awaits your arrival, offering a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and a cold beverage amidst the ongoing festivities.
The proceeds of the event will benefit the Bakersfield College Alumni Association, who strive to equip BC students with helpful resources, awarding six to eight scholarships each year that range from $250 to $500. With your support, Alumni Association hopes to continue offering more opportunities and supporting the success of our past, current, and future students.
