Capetonians will receive an elevated Sixty60 experience with 2,500 additional products. This includes 100 new premium brands like Apple, Dyson, Thule, Smeg, Samsung, and Harmon Kardon available only via the Sixty60 app and, for now, exclusively to customers in Kuils River, Brackenfell, Durbanville, Bellville, Goodwood, Edgemead, Milnerton, Century City, Table View, Blouberg, Parklands, Rondebosch, Observatory, Gardens, Sea Point and Camps Bay.
Following a staggered roll-out, the rest of the country will gain access to these extended premium ranges over the coming months.
Cape Town also has two state-of-the-art dark stores, located in Gardens and Maitland, that helps to streamline Sixty60's service in high-demand areas. These have created employment opportunities for an additional 138 people. The dark stores aid in stock management and rapid product fulfilment.
The two new supermarkets expand the brand's footprint in areas previously under-serviced by Checkers, bringing a world-class shopping experience and top-notch service not only to local residents, but also the large number of office workers in these areas.
