Extension of the appointment of Special Commissioner Ciciliano

Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano has signed a Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) to extend by a year the appointment of Fabio Ciciliano as special government commissioner for the redevelopment and regeneration of the area of the Municipality of Caivano.

In his role as Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabio Ciciliano will be tasked with completing the Plan approved by the Council of Ministers.
Following an initial phase of implementing actions and projects which led, among other things, to the new 'Pino Daniele' centre being opened on schedule, the Plan now provides for further structural measures aimed at supporting revival of the local economy, social inclusion and the fight against organised crime.

The Meloni Government intends to replicate the 'Caivano Model' in other Italian Municipalities, thereby reaffirming the commitment and determination of the State to combat all forms of degradation and illegality.
