The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA384-13 and TA385-13, requesting Commission approval to recover the monthly costs incurred under its fuel storage lease and operation agreements with Petro Star, Inc. Under the PSI Agreements, PSI will construct two fuel storage tanks with a capacity of 30,000 barrels each on GVEA property and provide fuel storage service to GVEA. The monthly lease payment will be $241,666.67, subject to adjustment once the second fuel storage tank is complete, for an initial term of 60 months. The monthly operations payment will be $100,000 beginning the date storage service begins or October 1, 2025, whichever comes first, for an initial term ending September 30, 2037. GVEA proposes to add a new line item to its COPA calculation for costs incurred under the PSI Agreements.
