Winter Parking Regulations (Alternate-Side Parking)

At 1:00 a.m. tomorrow, November 20th, Winter Parking Regulations go into effect and remain active until April 1st. These parking regulations are seven days a week, regardless of the weather conditions.

The Winter Parking Regulations ordinance states, "Between November 20th of any year and April 1st of the following year, inclusive, no person shall park, stop or leave standing any vehicle between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the even-numbered side of any public street or highway in the City on the odd-numbered calendar days and on the odd-numbered side of the public street or highway in the City on the even-numbered calendar days except in the turning radius (bulb portion) of cul-de-sacs and as otherwise posted."

Remember to consider the date change if you are parking your car on the street before midnight. The ordinance applies from 1 to 6 a.m., so you your vehicle should be parked on the side of the street based on the date it will be at 1 a.m.
