Last week, Home Start Knowsley celebrated its 25-year anniversary at its Annual General Meeting.

Established in 1999, the independent charity supports local families to help prevent crisis and build family resilience. Home Start aims to ensure that every parent has the support they need so their children have the best start in life, including a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment to thrive in.

Cllr Graham Morgan, Leader of Knowsley Council was invited to the AGM, where the 25-year anniversary was celebrated. He commented:

"I was delighted to have been invited to Home-Start Knowsley's AGM and celebrate 25 years of this fantastic organisation.

"I am very proud of the fact that Home-Start Knowsley resides in the borough, and I would like to say thank you to all the passionate and dedicated volunteers, staff and supporters of Home-Start for the work they carry out to support the most vulnerable families in Knowsley.

"I look forward to continuing to hear about the amazing work Home-Start undertake here in Knowsley."

Knowsley Council has supported Home-Start Knowsley with grant funding that has helped to deliver various projects such as the 'Moving on with Home-Start' Project.
