I-79 Southbound Restrictions Underway in Allegheny County

​Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single-lane and shoulder closure is underway on Interstate 79 in Franklin Park Borough, Allegheny County.

A single-lane and shoulder closure on southbound I-79 just south of the Route 910/Wexford (Exit 73) off-ramp is currently underway and will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through today and tomorrow, Friday, August 16. Crews from KCI Technologies, Inc. will conduct surveying and subsurface utility location work. This work is weather dependent and may not occur each day.

Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone's responsibility.
