URBACT City Festivals are a celebration of cities and the practices that shape our urban communities. This URBACT flagship event gathers hundreds of urban enthusiasts from across Europe to share knowledge, learn about urban trends, network and join forces in creative sessions on how to make our cities better.
The 2025 URBACT City Festival will take place in Wroclaw, Poland on 8-10 April 2025. It will gather 600 representatives from European city administrations to delve into the 116 URBACT Good Practices, network and build project partnerships for the next URBACT Transfer Networks. URBACT Pioneers Accelerator - Call for Applications
The URBACT Pioneers Accelerator is a bespoke learning programme dedicated to cities from countries preparing their accession to the EU from the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. It responds to the unique socio-political and economic context of the Western Balkans region with related thematic and operational challenges for implementation of sustainable urban development policies.
Around 20 cities from the Western Balkans region with their respective municipal teams will be selected to join this unique URBACT journey. URBACT aims to create a generation of urban professional leaders, who will be shaping the future of their cities in a new way and be recognised as pioneers and trailblazers for their peers in the region.
