Professor Judith Lamie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International Engagement, said: "We are incredibly proud to be ranked as the top university in Wales and to feature in the UK top 30 in The Guardian University Guide 2025. This ranking is a true reflection of the passion, dedication, and talent of our staff and students who work tirelessly to create an inspiring academic environment.

"What makes this achievement even more significant is our strength across a range of disciplines, showing our ability to deliver excellence in both teaching and research. At Swansea, we're committed to continually enhancing the student experience and ensuring that our graduates are equipped to succeed in an ever-changing world."

Swansea was also ranked among the top 100 universities in Europe in the latest QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025.
