CONCORD UNIVERSITY'S OFFICE OF VETERAN SERVICES PRESENTS THE RUN FOR HEROES 5K COLOR RUN & WALK

ATHENS, WV - The Office of Veteran Services at Concord University presents The Run for Heroes Color Run & Walk on Saturday, October 12 beginning at 9 AM at Callaghan Stadium. Participants will enjoy finishing the run through red and blue color clouds. Winners will be awarded with medals and other prizes.

A moment of silence will be held just before the start of the race in honor of our fallen soldiers and injured veterans. All proceeds from this event will support the Office of Veteran Services.

Organizers will use the original course created ten years ago. It's meant to be a challenging, yet fun atmosphere. The challenges of the course honor the hard work and sacrifices endured by United States military personnel.

Online registration is available by clicking HERE, or participants can register in person at the event beginning at 7:30 AM. Participants who pre-register by September 28 receive a discounted rate and are guaranteed a T-shirt.
