SASC Advances Multiple 4-Star Command Nominations and 6,024 Additional Military Promotions
Today, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably a list of 6,028 military nominations in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force. Included in this list are the nominations of:
-Lieutenant General Steven S. Nordhaus, USAF to be Chief of the National Guard Bureau
-Vice Admiral Alvin Holsey, USN to be Commander of U.S. Southern Command
-Lieutenant General Randall Reed, USAF to be Commander of U.S. Transportation Command
-Lieutenant General Xavier T. Brunson, USA to be Commander of U.S. Forces Korea
The committee also voted by voice en bloc to report out favorably the nomination of Mr. William Isaac White to be a Member of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board.
The nominations were immediately reported to the Senate Floor following the Committee's action.
