Temporary Road Closure

State Route 42 (SR 42)

(Clayton County, GA)- Part of State Route 42 (SR 42), south of Anvil Block Rd, is temporarily shut down to remove damaged parts of the bridge following an accident involving an 18-wheeler. The Clayton County Department of Transportation and Development is actively removing debris. Motorist are urged to use caution and take alternate routes until the roadway is reopened.
