Pedestrian Struck & Killed on Lebanon Pike

A 56-year-old Nashville woman in a wheelchair was struck and killed Thursday at 7:45 p.m. as she attempted to cross Lebanon Pike near Tyler Drive. Efforts are underway to notify her next of kin.

The preliminary investigation shows that the driver of a Subaru Outback was traveling east on Lebanon Pike when the woman was struck. She was transported to Skyline Medical Center where she died.

There was no evidence of impairment at the scene. This fatal crash occurred outside of a crosswalk.
