Statement on Behalf of the Acting Secretary of HUD on the 23rd Anniversary of September 11th


WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Acting Secretary Adrianne Todman issued the following statement on the commemoration of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

"Today, we remember the resiliency of the American people on the twenty-third anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks on our country."

"It is in the wake of this tragedy that we see the power of unity, the bravery to choose service to our country, and the true grit at the core of the American spirit."

"Now, more than two decades later, HUD recognizes this pivotal moment in American history, and we share our deepest sympathy to those who lost loved ones and our gratitude to those who gave their lives in the line of service."

"Today, and every day, let's remember their sacrifice."
