MoDOT seeking input on several Phelps County bridge projects

Public meeting and three-week comment period on four bridge projects over I-44

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - October 17, 2024

MoDOT is hosting a public meeting regarding four bridges in Phelps County next week. These bridges are scheduled for rehabilitation in 2025 and three will be closed during construction. Please come visit with the project team to ask questions, receive information, and leave comments.

Public Meeting Details

  • When: 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24.
    • You may come and go as at any time during these hours, as there will be no formal presentation.
  • Where: Rolla City Hall located at 901 E. Elm St., Rolla, MO, 65401.
  • Routes Impacted:
    • Route D
    • Route E
    • Route J
    • County Road 8490

Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions, provide information, and receive input about the project.

For those who are unable to attend in person, you can still help guide the design and construction process! You can submit your comments today, Oct. 17 through Nov. 7. Ways to provide feedback:
