Fourth Consecutive Year of 100% Participation in Diversity & Inclusion for U.S. Lawyers and Non-Lawyer Timekeepers

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce in fiscal year 2024, 100% of the firm's full-time U.S. lawyers participated in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, activities, and events. For the fourth consecutive year, our lawyers and non-lawyer timekeepers upheld the firm's mission to build and leverage a diverse and inclusive professional community. There were 678 Hunton lawyers who recorded over 10,000 D&I hours across the U.S. Moreover, the firm's non-lawyer timekeepers entered more than 200 of those D&I hours.

"Our lawyers prove every day what it means to be a Diversity & Inclusion Champion," said managing partner, Sam Danon. "Lawyers and professional staff at Hunton strive, not only to uphold D&I as our core values, but demonstrating how allyship and a positive work environment, join us all together, for the benefit of our colleagues, clients, communities, and our firm."

Diversity and inclusion are core values at Hunton, and we support a range of initiatives, giving our lawyers the opportunity to be an active participant and contribute in meaningful ways to the D&I programs. The firm has found that a diverse, inclusive workforce optimizes the delivery of outstanding client service and promotes a culture of respect, collaboration, involvement, and empowerment. Each fiscal year, the firm provides up to 25 billable hour credits to eligible associates and non-lawyer timekeepers for diversity and inclusion events.

Hunton's commitment to diversity and inclusion is longstanding, with the firm's first diversity committee having been established over 30 years ago. Reaching 100% participation in D&I activities reflects the dedication to this commitment by the firm as a whole.
