Bridge Replacement Project to Begin on Route 287 in Pine Township, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a bridge replacement and roadway project will begin on Route 287 in Pine Township, Lycoming County.

Starting on Monday, July 8, 2024, Route 287 will be closed at Lick Run Road (Route 4006), while the contractor, LTT Trucking LLC, begins work to replace the structure carrying Route 287 over Lick Run.

Long-Term Closure/Detour

  • A detour using Route 184, Route 15 (Steam Valley), Route 414 (Liberty) will be in place through August 5, 2024.

LTT Trucking, LLC is the prime contractor for this $1.3 million bridge replacement project. Work on this project includes removal of the existing bridge, installation of a concrete box culvert, approach work, realignment of Shadrach Draft stream, rock placement at embankments, guide rail upgrades, and other miscellaneous work. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in August of 2024.
