GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. On behalf of the United States Marine Corps, I
thank the members of the Navy Medical Department for their 182 years
of dedicated service since 31 August 1842.
2. As the force multiplier that delivers mission critical health
service support to the United States Marine Corps, it is with
tremendous gratitude that we stand shoulder to shoulder with you
as we persevere against future challenges.
3. Remaining "at the ready" as America's most formidable fighting
force, Marines take great comfort in knowing that in "every clime
and place," anywhere Marines go, Navy Medicine will be there. Your
unwavering commitment, professionalism, and dedication to our
mission forges a unique bond between Navy Medicine and the United
States Marine Corps, and sharpens our resolve. Your continued
legacy of world class combat medical support has been earned on
every battlefield the Marines have encountered in the history of the
United States Marine Corps.
4. On the 182nd Anniversary of the Navy Medical Department, we look
forward to forging the future of the United States Marine Corps
with Navy Medicine on our team. Our entire Marine Corps family
