FTI Consulting Enhances Capabilities of Merger Integration & Carve-Outs Offering with Two Senior Hires

Washington, D.C., Sept. 3, 2024 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the expansion of the firm's Merger Integration & Carve-Outs offering within the Transactions practice with the appointments of Chris Branch and Bob Pepper as Managing Directors.

Mr. Branch is based in Charlotte and specializes in guiding companies through M&A transactions to maximize value and mitigate operational risk. His experience includes end-to-end M&A planning and execution across integrations, divestitures and other complex transactions across a variety of industries.

In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Branch will support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, with a focus on supporting the execution of integrations and divestitures. Prior to joining the firm, he was Vice President of M&A at the multinational education technology company Discovery Education. Prior to that, he was a Senior Director for M&A execution at EY-Parthenon and held several business development roles following his time as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Pepper, who is based in Denver, specializes in the planning and delivery of complex business transformation initiatives, including M&A commercial and operational due diligence, pre-close planning and post-close integration, organizational design, and business operating model development and optimization. He has 30 years of experience in telecommunications and has led planning and execution for some of the most notable merger integrations in the industry.

At FTI Consulting, Mr. Pepper will advise clients across industries on pre-close transaction planning and post-close integration, as well as other business transformation needs. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Pepper was Vice President of Enterprise Services and Vice President of Program Strategy with Spectrum Enterprise, where, for nearly a decade, he led M&A integration planning and execution as well as other key business functions in the Enterprise Business Unit, including real estate, government compliance, and portfolio planning and intake.
