Eventbrite Launches RECONVENE Accelerator Applications with Star-Studded Judge Lineup
Eventbrite believes live events have the power to build community, create connection and shape culture. And that behind every live experience is someone with a unique vision and creative genius just waiting to be uncovered.
Last year, we launched RECONVENE Accelerator, a one-of-a-kind mentorship and award program, to discover and empower the next generation of live event creators. From a small business owner and food festival entrepreneur, to a meditation expert and an aspiring musical artist, Eventbrite believes that everyone has the power to bring unique events to life - all they need is a spark to take their idea from imagination to IRL.
This year, we're back and better than ever! We're teaming up with a panel of expert judges to select five winners who will receive $20K plus one-on-one mentorship from Eventbrite to turn their dream event into a reality.

Meet the Judges
Eventbrite has partnered with three star-powered judges who are experts in their respective fields of music, food, and health & wellness.
- Tamara Levitt: Author, Meditation Instructor, and Head of Mindfulness at Calm
- Sophia Roe: James Beard Award-Winning Chef, Writer, and Emmy-Nominated TV Host
- Jidenna: Grammy-Nominated Rapper, Songwriter, and Record Producer

- Develop your idea and submit your application by June 13th, 2023
- We'll select 25 winners to go through a professional mentorship program
- Our judges and the internet will get to vote for their favorite creator and event concept
- 5 winners will receive $20K in funding and one-on-one mentorship from our judges to bring their events to life

A Look Back At Last Year's Winners
From a 36-course Wu-Tang Clan themed dinner, to nail art and friendship bracelets during screen-free weekends and a queer comedy day camp, Eventbrite's first class of RECONVENE Accelerator winners brought people together in the most unique ways. And the results are real: they collectively sold nearly 5,000 tickets and transacted over $125,000 in ticket sales.
