BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Democracy and Public Policy Research Network in the Department of Political Science at Bowling Green State University has released the results of its second web-based poll of 1,000 likely Ohio voters conducted from Oct. 10 to 21, 2024.

Topics covered in the October poll include:

• Presidential race
• Ohio U.S. Senate race
• Ohio Issue 1 and thoughts on direct democracy
• Ohioans' thoughts on popular vote vs. Electoral College
• Ohioans' views of celebrity endorsements

The nonpartisan poll of sampled Ohioans has a margin of error of +/- 3.6 percentage points. Questions nine and 10 relating to Ohio Issue 1 have a margin of error of +/- 5.14 percentage points.

October poll results include:

• Top-line findings
• Cross-tabulation findings
• Expert analysis on poll results

For the poll, YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group, gathered public opinion data through questions sent in online surveys, emails and text messages.

A four-person research team in the BGSU Department of Political Science developed, ordered, tested and analyzed the questions in the poll.
