Join the YLD tailgate and social events in October

The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) is hard at work to bring you opportunities for fun! You won't want to miss the exciting events highlighted below.

YLD tailgate at Jack Trice Stadium on Oct. 19

District 2B of the YLD will be hosting a tailgate this Saturday, Oct. 19, in conjunction with the Iowa State v. UCF football game. The game may not be until 6:30 p.m., but the fun will start around 2:30 p.m. at tent #27. This invitation is open to all ISBA members, and people are encouraged to stop by at any time for food and drink and are welcome to bring anyone who is a member or may be interested in becoming a member of the ISBA or YLD. Drinks including keg beer, and two specialty cocktails will be provided by Cyclone Liquors beginning around 2:30 p.m., and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided by Northwest Bank.

A catered late lunch/early dinner will be provided around 4:30 p.m. and there will be a tv with games on throughout the day.

YLD social in Des Moines on Oct. 21

It's that time of year again for the YLD, Young Professionals Connection (YPC), and Drake University's Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity networking event at xBK Live in Des Moines.

On Monday, Oct. 21, from approximately 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. don't miss out on this chance to network and socialize with members from all three organizations. This is a risk-free opportunity to enjoy time together and catch up with friends and colleagues, both new and old. Come and go as you please and feel free to bring a friend!
