SR 78/I 5 southbound Connector Closure This Saturday, 9/14

SAN DIEGO - - Caltrans maintenance crews will close the westbound State Route 78 (SR-78) connector to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Saturday from 3 - 8 a.m. for maintenance work.

Westbound SR-78 motorist may connect to northbound I-5, exit at Oceanside Boulevard, turn right on Oceanside Blvd, and proceed to the southbound I-5 on-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
