Daines’ Bipartisan Legislation to Provide Credit Monitoring for All Montana Servicemembers Passes Senate

U.S. SENATE - U.S. Senator Steve Daines announced his bipartisan legislation "Servicemembers' Credit Monitoring Enhancement Act" passed the U.S. Senate. The legislation provides free credit monitoring for all Montana armed service members, including Reservists and National Guard members.

"As the son of a U.S. Marine, I know firsthand the sacrifices that they and their families have made for our country. The last thing they should have to worry about is identity theft or fraud issues. I'm proud that our bipartisan legislation to expand free credit monitoring for servicemembers has passed the Senate, and I'll always support common sense solutions to put our military families first," said Daines.

Daines introduced the bill in April 2023.
