Kansas City area maintenance work for Sept. 3-6

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Sept. 3-6. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Colbern Rd.: flagging operation from Tue., Sept. 3 until Fri., Sept. 6, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work."

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 131 between US-50 and Missouri Highway 2: flagging operations from Tue., Sept. 3 until Thu., Sept. 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route T between US-50 and Route D: flagging operation on Tue., Aug. Sept. 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Route O between US-50 and Route N: flagging operation on Wed., Sept. 4 and Thu., Sept. 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

PLATTE COUNTY

Route Z: Various closures beginning Sept. 4: TRAFFIC ALERT: Closures scheduled on MO Route Z in Platte County, September | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org)

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
