Lane Closure on South 78th Street between Palm River Road and Southside Lane

The outside northbound lane of South 78th Street is now closed between Palm River Road and Southside Lane while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm today and then close again on Monday, September 16, at 9:30am to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.

The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5pm, Tuesday, September 17. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
