Stormwater Bond Virtual Public Meeting Set for October 30

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities invites residents to a virtual public meeting Wednesday, October 30, regarding a proposed stormwater improvements bond. An online presentation about the project will begin at 6 p.m.

The virtual public meeting will share plans for the proposed stormwater improvements bond. The bond will maintain the health and safety of our residents and their property through stormwater projects that:

• Prevent and manage flooding
• Reduce pollution in waterways
• Ensure sound infrastructure during rain events
• Improve water quality
• Prevent erosion
• Protect aquatic habitat
• Offer aesthetic and recreational benefits

Members of the LTU Watershed Management team will be available to answer questions and provide information on planned projects.

A link to the stormwater bond website will be available at the top of the City of Lincoln website at lincoln.ne.gov up to 15 minutes before and during the meeting. The banner will direct participants to the stormwater bond webpage to join the meeting. For those unable to attend the meeting, a recording of the presentation will be available on the website Thursday, October 31.
