West Chazy male arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing

On August 29, 2024, State Police members arrested Thomas E. Frenyea, age 52, of West Chazy, NY, for criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

On August 29, 2024, at approximately 12:27 a.m., Troopers responded to Kelly Road in the town of Beekmantown for a domestic dispute. An investigation determined that Frenyea and the victim were involved in a verbal argument, which turned physical when Frenyea placed his hands around the victim's neck, causing the victim not to be able to breathe.

Frenyea was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court, where he was released on his own recognizance.
