Severe Weather - Office Closures

Out of an abundance of caution for Georgia's veterans and our staff, GDVS offices in the path of Hurricane Debby will be temporarily closed.

Closures include: Albany, Americus, Athens, Augusta (VAMC and GWVNH), Fort Stewart, Fort Moore, Greensboro, Hinesville, Macon, Milledgeville GWVH, Moultrie, St. Marys, Savannah, Statesboro, Thomasville, and Valdosta.

The state veterans memorial cemeteries in Milledgeville and Glennville will be closed on August 5 - 6, 2024.

Additional closures may be announced as the storm passes through the state.

Visitation at the state war homes may be limited for the safety of guests and staff.
