Responsibility to be established in case of exporting sensitive products by air transport to EEU Member State from RA territory without permission

Norms of responsibility will be established in case of exporting sensitive products included on the lest set by the Government by air transport to the EEU Member State from the territory of the Republic of Armenia without permission. The problem is that in case of ground transportation transit declaration system works, and whole exporting to third countries, in all cases there is declaration procedure in all cases. Meanwhile, in case of exporting by air transport we don't have declaration procedure and means of responsibility. The Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Artur Manukyan noted this, presenting the proposing addenda and amendment to the Code on Administrative Offenses at the NA sitting.

Responsibility will be established in the amount of 50% of the exporting sensitive product cost, but not more than 500.000 AMD, at the moment of the offense, in case of the existing product also by confiscating it.

In Q&A session the key rapporteur detailed that it refers to the products. Accordingly, by the decision of the RA Government the list of the sensitive products in terms of the national security of the Republic of Armenia, which as a result of some transformation can become dual-purpose or military products. It was also established that the permissible system in force for the dual-purpose products also works for the products of this type.

Karen Hambardzumyan spoke about the endorsement of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
