Mayor Broome Announces 2024 Neighborhood Convention

Baton Rouge, LA - July 26, 2024 - Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is proud to announce the 2024 Connecting East Baton Rouge Neighborhood Convention. The event will bring together hundreds of neighborhood leaders and residents, business owners, city-parish department heads, public safety leaders, and youth from across the parish for a day of sharing tools and best practices needed to build strong, connected neighborhoods.

"Our vision is for residents to know and help their neighbors live in safe, vibrant neighborhoods where all feel welcomed and loved, sharing a strong sense of pride and community," said Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. "Please join us to connect, educate, and inspire neighborhood leaders to network and collaborate to improve the quality of life for all.
