Singer-songwriter Solann wins the first Women In Motion Emerging Talent Award for Music and Image at Sœurs Jumelles Festival

The award, which comes with a €20,000 prize to support the artist's next project, aims to reward and promote the creativity of female artists in the music industry.

Highlighting the significance of sisterhood and the sharing of knowledge and experience, each prize winner will have the opportunity to join the judging panel for the next edition, thereby strengthening the connection between artists.

Following an on-stage exchange with singer-songwriter Keren Ann, prize-winner Solann said: "I think I'm the first in a long line of women who will help each other." She then performed an acoustic version of "Rome", taken from her first EP, as the opening act of her show "Amour Toujours", in tribute to Dani.

Inspired by the Women In Motion Emerging Talent Award presented by Kering at the Cannes Film Festival, this new accolade aims to support emerging female talent. It upholds Kering's ongoing commitment to recognizing women in the arts and culture through its Women In Motion program.
